Content Architecture
The discipline of deciding content’s shape: which types exist, which fields they carry, how they reference each other, and what gets reused where. Information architecture decides where things live; content strategy decides why they exist; content architecture decides what they are made of. The content model is the artifact; content architecture is the practice that produces it. The practitioner is a content architect: the data-shape decider in the room.
