Knowledge Graph Roadmap

§ 01 — Nomenclature update

This node predates the current stack. "Gems" are now nodes. The WordPress pipeline became Sanity. The Knowledge Graph is now the visual layer over nodes, articles, and case studies — not the archive itself. The AI's instinct to build a graph instead of writing a comparison chart was the correct call (so sayeth Claude, an AI agent).

This roadmap describes the evolution of the Knowledge Graph subsystem within Sugartown, not the platform as a whole. The Sugartown Knowledge Graph is being built deliberately in layers. Each phase stabilizes the system before expanding capability, ensuring that complexity never outruns clarity.

This roadmap reflects an intentional sequencing: architecture first, interaction second, intelligence last.

Near Term (0–3 Months): Foundation & Narrative Coherence

This phase hardens the system and makes it legible—to humans as well as machines.

Mid Term (3–6 Months): Interaction & Discovery

Once the data model is stable, interaction becomes the focus.

Longer Term (6–12 Months): Intelligence Layer

The final layer adds meaning, not just structure.

This sequencing keeps the system understandable at every stage—no speculative features before the foundation is ready to support them.
