Status Update
The Great Re-Platforming
Executive Summary
The stakeholder (Me) has been forcibly decoupled from the legacy backend (The Beauty Retailer). While the “Job Security” microservice has experienced unexpected downtime, this presents a strategic opportunity to refactor the core value proposition. I am shifting from a single-tenant architecture to a multi-tenant consulting mindset (or at least, getting hired by a better tenant).
Root Cause Analysis
Legacy Dependency: The previous employer decided to “optimize resources” (read: bad decision-making). System Failure: The connection to the payroll API was severed.
The Pivot Strategy
We are taking the IP generated during the “Beauty Retailer Era”—the headless CMS knowledge, the design system governance, the stakeholder management—and repackaging it. We aren’t just looking for a job; we are launching “Me 2.0.”
Action Item
Use AI to transform “I got laid off” into “I successfully delivered a complex digital transformation and am now seeking new challenges,” while quietly judging the old architecture.
